Smyth Auto Parts has grown and now owns and operates 18 auto part retail locations, 8 paint centers and 5 warehouse distribution centers serving Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Northern, Central KY, Nashville, TN, and Indianapolis, IN

Smyth Auto Parts is seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Parts Warehouse Inventory Control professionals to join our rapidly growing team. You will be expected to accurately complete inventory audits, pulling and packing orders for shipment as well as various other warehouse duties. Must be willing to Drive 1 day a week to the Chattanooga, TN Gas and Company Vehicle provided.


  • Loading and unloading parts inventory
  • Stocking and logging all parts inventory
  • Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
  • Monitors parts inventory to ensure accuracy of stock.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
  • Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies
  • Be able to lift 50lbs
  • Assists in loading and routing drivers when necessary
  • May at times be called upon to do a delivery or pickup
  • Assists at the parts counter when called upon to do so – answer phone calls
  • General auto parts experience is preferred
  • Pulling parts orders for delivery to customers


  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience with aftermarket auto parts sales (preferred)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable with our fleet insurance carrier
  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions
  • General computer database knowledge
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Basic inventory, math, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
