What you will be doing
Under the general direction of Xcenda AmerisourceBergen senior leadership, our GHEOR team plays a critical role in HEOR evidence generation strategy, design and implementation – from study conceptualization to final report and dissemination. This role will support pharmaceutical manufactures and biotech clients in developing evidence-based strategies and tactics that utilize health economics and outcomes research to drive results in the real world.
As a Global Health Economics and Outcomes Researcher at Xcenda AmerisourceBergen, a typical day might include:
Developing early-stage HEOR strategies
Building the tactical tools and training materials to communicate the product value story at launch
Extending commercial opportunities later in the life cycle by uncovering new evidence that demonstrates comparative effectiveness
Conducting literature reviews, global market research
Evaluating market access strategy and tactics for new product developments
Partnering with our internal Real World Evidence team on data analysis, retrospective studies, prospective studies and chart reviews
Developing and/or interpreting economic models, comparative effectiveness models and burden of illness studies
Writing content for value dossiers and publications
Contributing to the development of proposals that clearly convey the excellence of Xcenda’s services with accurate budgets and timelines
Recruit, train and mentoring junior staff
What your background should look like (minimum qualifications)
This role may be filled at varying levels of seniority. Based on the experience level of the candidate, the responsibilities for this role will adjust accordingly.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharma industry, consulting or other related markets
Bachelors or Master's degree (in Health Economics, Pharmacy Administration, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health Policy, or Business Administration)
Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and experience with issues surrounding the marketing of pharmaceutical products in the global marketplace to include the design and use of health economics and outcomes research studies
Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain high quality work output in a fast- paced dynamic environment while working on multiple projects
Ability to effectively communicate complex material in both face-to-face and teleconference presentations.
Nice to have
A postgraduate degree (eg, PhD, DrPH, MD, PharmD, MPH) in a relevant discipline preferred but not required.
