Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, family members, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Manage the front desk, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients and visitors.
- Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries and providing information to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Utilize phone systems and help to schedule appointments.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing and preparing documents.
- Assist with health information management, including managing patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of medical terminology
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
