Manages the scheduling and maintains the most efficient and profitable “Operations Plan” meeting all customer, safety and regulatory requirements. Support of the DHL Express fleet and assist with the other fleets as needed. Assist with the management the Data Auditing Unit as needed.

Coordinates the implementation of seasonal and ad hoc schedules in consideration of maintenance events, aircraft performance, crew and ground resources, regulatory constraints and airport limitations
Assist in coordination of network recovery efforts on the DHL network to minimize impact of network disruptions
Assigns aircraft to maximize block hour utilization and minimize direct operational costs
Identifies, advises and resolves conflicts and potential conflicts within the Operations Plan through close coordination with System Operations Control and other departments
Develops process improvements initiatives and implements Standard Operating Procedures to aide in the dissemination of timely, consistent scheduling data for operational planning and financial analyses
Assists the Vice President of System Operations and Director of Operations Planning on operational matters as needed; tasks may include, but not be limited to: research and project development; assisting with flight coding, delay coding and reporting; peak season planning and coordinating start-up activities; maintaining the block time, airport, customer, and aircraft registry databases; and chairing the daily and monthly operational meetings
Available for input and consultation on all scheduling matters
May assist in managing the Data Audit Unit whose primary responsibilities are: procuring, auditing and archiving log pages and flight documentation; supporting end-of-month statistical flight data close-outs; and oversight of the Company’s jump seat responsibilities
Minimum of five years of airline management experience in Aircraft Planning or Operations Control
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities; creative; able to visualize scenarios, formulate optimal outcomes and make sound decisions given changing operational parameters;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills
Proven experience to prioritize, organize, delegate and multitask with minimal direction
Schedule flexibility including 24/7 on-call availability;
