Opens requisitions and initiates the approval process in the eRecruit system. Routinely updates requisition status (open, on hold, closed.) Consults with hiring managers to understand and clarify position requirements and plan targeted recruitment strategies; Finalizes job posting and places ads with various applicable job advertising channels – i.e. internet job boards, journals, colleges, professional membership organizations, diversity boards, etc. Submits postings for placement on the corporate career site. Directly sources and screens for potential candidates. Schedules and coordinates interviews working with administrative staff to coordinate the interview team schedule. Coordinates candidate travel arrangements, accommodations and transportation, candidate presentations, assessment tools and background checks. When needed, works with outside recruiting agencies to review contracts based on established rates, terms and conditions.
Facilitates management debrief sessions to review final candidate slates and gain alignment on selection decisions.
Proactively recognizes key hiring trends that affect local recruitment efforts. Understands the local market and leverages competitive intelligence to help inform direction of CZMI recruitment and brand management strategies.
Initiates the job offer evaluation process with Compensation. Reviews final offer recommendations with the approving parties and prepares formal job offers (new hire and external) for review with hiring manager.
Coordinates onboarding process with HRBP’s.
Creates, maintains, and stores all candidate search files. Maintains all required data in accordance with to legal and company retention requirements. May provide support to required entities with annual applicant tracking reports. Coordinates and implements college recruiting initiatives, including coordinating/ organizing career fairs and internship programs.
Partners directly with Corporate HRIS and designated recruiting vendors to troubleshoot eRecruit system or reporting issues.
HS Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelors preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment recruiting in the various functional areas.
Understand general compensation practices and negotiating job offers with candidates (including sign on bonuses, relocation packages, etc.)
Demonstrated experience recruiting at all levels of an organization from entry to senior level. Experience partnering with and influencing hiring managers throughout the recruiting cycle.
This position requires strong sourcing abilities, including recruiting technical roles in a Medical Device or highly regulated environment.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Maintain working knowledge of recruiting, selection and employment regulations.
Maintain currency of and adhere to applicable regulatory processes and procedures. Abide by state and federal employment laws.
