Position Overview
Job Title: Treasury - Liquidity Management

Overview

Treasury is responsible for managing the financial resources of the firm through capital management, liquidity management, asset and liability management, funding, and other core activities. Treasury resides within Group Treasury and the greater Finance organization of the firm. As the Director of Treasury - Liquidity Management in our New York Office, you will report to the US Head of Liquidity Stress Modelling. You will be responsible for the analysis and implementation of the liquidity framework as well as the management of the respective liquidity risks within the risk appetite of the Management Board. Further, you will act as a delegate for the US Head to support stakeholders in fully understanding the framework and the related liquidity risks to help the business utilize the steering information for business optimization.

Your Role

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain a robust and consistent global liquidity management framework including comprehensive documentation and effective communication to regulators and businesses
Day to day liquidity management and monitoring, escalating issues as appropriate and per the agreed governance framework
Ensure a sound liquidity risk position of the Bank under normal as well as stressed market conditions while remaining in compliance with regulatory requirements
Design, implement and own internal liquidity models to be validated by Risk
Ensure a sound liquidity risk position of the Bank under normal as well as stressed market conditions while remaining in compliance with regulatory requirements
How You’ll Lead

Collaborate with the Americas businesses on cost/value of funds and guide the business on optimal resource allocation
Support firm-wide communication and relationship for liquidity management with regulators
Skills You’ll Need

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or similar field of study; master’s degree preferred
Experience within the Industry. Experience working in a business or Treasury function preferable
Experience with leading project planning / workflows and documentation for intricate deliveries
Skills That Will Help You Excel

Strong understanding of Treasury and business functions and concepts, with experience leading Treasury based (or business) optimization strategies
Very Strong modelling background with a focus on the liquidity angle toward products
Very strong organizational and time management
Direct experience with regulators and very strong verbal and written communication skills
