St. Luke's Health System in Idaho seeks an Executive Medical Director to serve as the accountable physician leader overseeing the St. Luke's Clinic Medical Group (SLCMG). In dyad partnership with the Administrator, this role provides both strategic leadership and administrative direction for cross-functional medical group policies and standards via Service Line Medical Directors and/or other officers of the SLCMG. Additionally, the Executive Medical Director shares joint accountability with the Administrator for SLCMG performance measures set forth by St. Luke's Health Partners Clinically Integrated Network.
In dyad partnership, this role engages in direct Service Line and SLCMG Medical Director interactions to develop overarching strategies, goals, objectives and outcomes, including but not limited to:
Serving as Clinical Division Leader while demonstrating the values and behaviors of SLHS leadership.
Engaging in the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding, performance management and career development/progression.
Developing and executing on departmental business plans to support Departmental and/or Service Line strategies.
Developing and overseeing strategic decision-making processes to ensure alignment with operational governance across the health system.
Leading the provider compensation program to continue aligning compensation methodologies to strategic population health goals.
Supporting continuous development of an interdependent, multispecialty group culture within the SLMGC.
Maintaining a part-time clinical practice.
This position requires a degree from an accredited school of Medicine or Osteopathy, as well as successful completion of an accredited residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified and have at least 10 years of clinical practice experience as well as demonstrated progressive leadership roles within a healthcare organization(s). This position will also require the ability to obtain membership as a licensed physician (MD/DO) on a St. Luke's Medical Staff.
