We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the following position:
Asphalt Patch Foreman - This position directly supervises, directs, trains, and works alongside crews of 2-5 employees. Assist the Superintendent with the daily production activities and assumes supervisory duties for the patch crew while working alongside the crew on every project site.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work in conjunction with the Project Estimator, Superintendent, and other team members to coordinate production activities and production schedule.
- Oversee the execution of work to ensure that field personnel are scheduled and complete the job within contract/job confines. May periodically reassess daily goals to meet forecasted production.
- Responsible for maintaining daily logs of materials used and labor for each project.
- May set up and tear down equipment.
- Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment, and secure the job site each day.
- Understand material handling and storage in compliance with SDS sheets.
- Must operate equipment, machinery, and other tools in compliance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform all other general laborer work as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must know asphalt paving/patching operations and have at least 5 years of experience.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of supervisory experience.
- Must be able to work outside, frequently for long periods in all weather, including hot temperatures.
