Job Description:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.

Years of Experience: 10+ years in program/project management, developing strategic plans and roadmaps, coordinating with working groups, and applying change management principles to cross-functional federal programs.
Required: BA/BS or higher in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Education, Human Resources Development, Psychology, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical disciplines.
Ability to provide leadership, direction, and guidance to support staff.
Ability to manage all tasks and schedules to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to act as “Thinking Partner” to clients to help them formulate their points of view and paths forward.
Demonstrated ability to engage and positively motivate team members at all levels.
Experience in Microsoft Office programs including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Provide program management and thought leadership to clearly demonstrate and communicate program achievements, execution performance, and strategic direction.
Develop executive briefing materials for regular program technical and performance reviews.
Oversee team members providing stakeholder communications to ensure quality control and timely submission of deliverables.
Oversee technical staff that engage in technology testing and evaluation and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce programmatic knowledge products, including After Action Reports and case studies.
Provide program management support for team members supporting testing and evaluation of proposed and existing technologies.
Communicate status of program/project to internal and external stakeholders via written reports and meetings.
Perform senior-level advisory consulting work as an authority in the management consulting area.
Manage the evaluation of risk and opportunity impacts to existing or proposed projects/programs and implement risk mitigation actions.
Ensure compliance with contract and corporate requirements including quality measures and quality assurance standards.
