Tremendous growth, expansion into new markets, and the need to build benchstrength on our sales team has created an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic entry-level sales trainee to participate in an immersive one year to 18-month sales training program at the Aprilaire company headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin. Through a mix of classroom time and hands-on experience, recruits will learn Aprilaire culture and develop business acumen and industry knowledge that prepares them to manage their own territory. Upon successful completion of the program, they will have the opportunity to transition to the next District Sales Manager (DSM) position that becomes available.

The Sales Management Trainee will support Residential New Construction (RNC) channel and Major Account Sales Managers on a priority basis, assisting Residential Service and Replacement (RSR) channel sales team in day to day tasks that provide excellent customer service to our contractors and partners.
Support Residential New Construction Channel.
Follow up on orders, credits, invoices, etc.
Handle outbound calls and other activities concerning orders, pricing, freight, warranty, backorders and shipping errors.
Outbound calling to make dealers and distributors aware of promotions and seasonal offers.
Handle literature order fulfillment.
Be liaison between office staff (customer service, marketing, etc.) to ensure FSF has needed tools and resources.
Provide support with contractor - homeowner interactions that require DSM intervention.
Travel in channel to support RNC Sales Manager activities in marketplace.
Assist sales team with dealer and distributor events.
Train existing dealers and builders on product applications.
Gain real-life installation and application knowledge.
Develop understanding of geographic product applications.
Provide service to major accounts.
Track shipping of orders to ensure completion, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Ensure large dealer order fulfillment process steps are completed accurately and with a sense of urgency, addressing and resolving issues that lead to delays, inaccuracies, and other problems.
