MBS Family Farms is a multi-generation farming operation based in north central Iowa. We are seeking a highly organized, confidential, and professional Executive Project Assistant to join our team, reporting to the General Manager/Owner of the operation.
This dynamic administrative position spends 60% of time assisting the General Manager Owner and will work with HR (25%) and Insurance and Compliance (15%).
This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm on-site, in our office located in Plainfield, IA.
The Executive Project Assistant will work in a multifunctional role with tasks such as: scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing, and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; completing expense reporting; taking notes at meetings and any other administrative tasks to assist the GM/Owner in performing their duties.
This role requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities Include:
· Managing and maintaining the executive’s schedule.
· Prepare reports, memos, financial statements, letters, presentations, and other documents, using Google and Microsoft Office products (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Read and direct incoming correspondence, emails, posts, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
· Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records.
· Prepares agendas, plans/organizes, and implements events such as meetings, business retreats, political events, and landowner dinners.
· Conduct research, compile data, and prepare materials for consideration and presentation by executive(s.)
· Handles confidential information; assisting HR with new hire recruitment, onboarding, and organizes and maintains files in conjunction with HR and Payroll.
· Assist with all compliance and certification paperwork and filings, such as Insurance and Government Programs.
Requirements:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred.
· 3+ years’ experience in mid/senior level administration, business, management, or related field.
· Knowledge of agriculture/farming is strongly desired, but not required.
· General office technology aptitude is preferred.
· Proficiency in managing outbound communication via a CRM is favored.
· Proficient computer skills/usage, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and social media communications.
