CNC Machinist

Goals for day 7-10 setups, 100-150 pieces per day across 4 machines.

Assists with the set up, operation, and adjustment of conventional or automatic machines such as Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines • Inspect in-process pieces to ensure parts are to specification or blue prints.

Adjust machine to control part dimensions. • Perform activities planned by others.

Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Rexnord policies, 5S procedures, and in line with Rexnord core values. • Must have strong blueprint skills

GD&T knowledge is a must have • Must have ability to perform own set ups

Must be able to communicate tolerances held in previous roles

Role requires some, not a must have CNC programming knowledge

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; high school diploma or equivalent a plus.

Effectively communicate and work in a team environment.

Knowledge of various metals and of measurements used in machining processes.

Accurately read and comprehend blue prints, work instructions, etc.

Ability to write to record basic information 6. Knowledge of and ability to compute basic arithmetic skills such as, or comparable to: add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals.

Ability to use a computer with clear instructions and procedures.

Knowledge of and ability to select and adjust appropriate tools, objects or materials to attain demanding standards in different work situations.

Ability to carry out tasks that require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order.

Knowledge and ability to solve problems that may be frequent but easy to recognize.
