The Department of Insurance is seeking experienced investigators to become an integral part of our Enforcement Division to investigate allegations of insurance law violations and enforce PA Insurance Laws and Regulations.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In these positions, Special Investigators will interview policyholders, witnesses, and insurance company representatives to gather information, resolve complaints and recommend appropriate action. This position will also coordinate with peer divisional staff to protect consumers through fair and efficient regulation of the insurance industry. Employees in this position may participate in joint investigations with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies such as the District Attorney's Office, the State Attorney General's Office, the U.S. Postal Inspection Services, the PA State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Must meet PA residency requirement.

Qualifications: Four years of experience in progressively responsible criminal investigation work, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
