The Events Manager will be responsible for the “behind-the-scenes” daily operations of scheduled events; including but not limited to: planning, organizing and scheduling assets, POS and vendors as needed. They will also attend events from the set up to tear down and be responsible for the successful activation of the event on the ground.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Event Planning – plan events with appropriate Event Marketing staff
  • Staff planning (with appropriate employees and/or vendors) for all on-site Event Staff
  • Event budget management
  • Ensure branding standards are met
  • Event asset inventory control/ maintenance
  • Communication of event plan to all relevant parties
  • On the ground event set-up, live event management, and tear down
  • Event related invoice processing
  • Event recaps (photos/SWOT/sampling/overview)
Position Requirements:
  • Five (5) years or more event production, management and activation or related field experience
  • Detail oriented with ability to grasp complex concepts and execute decisively
  • Excellent planning, negotiating, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Programs – Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
  • Flexibility to travel and work in a variety of environments
  • Strong Team player skills with positive work outlook
  • Development and implementation of annual and/or individual event marketing plans
  • The ability to be flexible and excel at multitasking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with outstanding time management skills
  • Experience with inventory systems
