Department Specific Responsibilities:
Functions as liaison and as administrative, technical or operational resource for internal CC stakeholders and external partners. Coordinates partnering meetings, retreats, site visits and the overall Strategic Partnering calendar. Initiates or leads less complex projects. Identifies operational improvement opportunities to create efficient workplace. Develops communications, databases, and budget summaries.
Proofreads, formats and edits sensitive materials (e.g.: Request for Proposal responses, executive/board level presentations) creating a cohesive final product utilizing a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy and timeline management.
Leads orientation and records management activities and ensures standards are maintained.
Develops and updates interdepartmental education programs.
Assists with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of complex executive meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitates and attends meetings and records key outcomes.
Identifies key milestones and deadlines.
Communicates project status and requirements to achieve results.
Researches, analyzes and organizes information for presentations.
Assists department leadership with large or complex projects.
Performs secretarial and administrative duties of a complex nature
Initiates or leads less complex projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate's Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or related degree strongly preferred.
Additional progressively responsible experience may offset degree requirement.
May require license based on department/Institute need.
Complexity of Work:
Requires multi-tasking, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in highly interactive team environment.
Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
Minimum three years administrative or project management experience required.
Strong computer skills and experience with software applications. Solid communication and customer service skills.
Experience developing programs (healthcare, financial or education) preferred.
Experience editing, formatting, and proofreading documents.
Managing highly complex executive calendars.
Advanced PowerPoint skills.
High degree dexterity to operate office equipment.
May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
Good hearing acuity.
