The CAD Department Manager is a working manager who will also be responsible for preparing complete drawing sets utilizing AutoCAD and Revit. The manager is also responsible for overseeing the drafting team members, managing the work flow along, as well as teaching and developing employees and helping them to grow as individuals and within the company.
Daily interaction with the Sales team to determine specific needs for each project require the drafter to have the ability to work in a deadline driven fast-paced environment. Ideally, this candidate has experience in the field of Architecture as well as a food-service design background and or practical experience in foodservice.
The position requires a person who possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as problem resolution skills. The successful applicant is flexible, detail-oriented with great follow through. They must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Some travel is required for the position to visit project locations and attend industry trade shows.
