Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 5 years' experience in a hospital / health system administrative setting; Minimum 2 years' experience in an Executive Assistant position with experience interacting with high level executive staff.

The ability to take initiative, problem-solve, exercise excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, and multi-task and adapt to changing circumstances and shifting priorities in a high-profile environment. Highest level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality and ability to interact with all levels of internal and external constituents. Strong interpersonal and conflict avoidance / management skills as well as the ability to prioritize and hold individuals accountable for performance Strong skills in using a PC and software programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Prior experience writing and editing skills to prepare grammatically correct business correspondence, agendas, minutes and reports with speed and accuracy; Ability to work independently on a variety of assignments with minimal direction and fluctuating workload, frequent interruptions and distractions; Skill in prioritizing assignments to assure the completion of work in a timely manner under pressure of deadlines and heavy workload; Ability to interact diplomatically with a diverse population composed of administrators, staff, physicians and outside customers; Uses independent judgment, maintain a complex calendar scheduling appointments, arranging meetings and special events Must have the ability to meet essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
