More About the Role:
As a Senior Writer/Editor, you will serve RRS correspondence workflow to accomplish the following:
Edit/Finalize documents for senior executive signature and release;
Create and update templates, and edit and revise correspondence, manuals, and other documents;
Make necessary corrections in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and format to ensure all documents are updated, free of errors, and follow writing guidelines in FRA style guides and the United States Government Printing Office Style Manual;
Work with Office of Railroad Safety subject matter experts to resolve questions of factual accuracy;
Use Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
When tasked with creating and editing one letter to send to multiple addresses, demonstrate the ability to complete a mail-merged document in MS Word using a template letter and extracting addressee data from an MS Excel spreadsheet; and
Team Lead responsibilities for the CACI RRS team, which includes a limited number of tasks, such as timekeeping management, quarterly discussions, weekly reporting, regular communications/meetings with the team, and other tasks as necessary. This position will not be responsible for managing the workloads of direct reports.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant career field;
Ten (10) years of relevant experience; and
Experience/proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) .
