FOH Manager - Davio's Steakhouse @ Logan Airport



Tastes on the Fly and Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse is bringing passengers at Logan International Airport a taste of Boston!

Our Company, Tastes on the Fly, is an innovative leader in bringing quality dining experiences to the airport environment. We bring the same high-quality cuisine and service that would rival any street location and we partner with notable restaurateurs, chefs and local purveyors throughout our various concepts.

We also have 5 other full service locations and 2 artisan markets in Logan Airport.

Davio's in Terminal C operates from 5:30am - appx. 10:30pm (depending on flight schedule and delays).

We seek team players with previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry who have demonstrated organization, grace under pressure, follow through and team leadership. Positive energy and commitment to / understanding of excellent guest service is a must. Candidates must also have excellent communication, good computer skills and analytical skills.

To be eligible to work in our airport locations, candidate must pass a U.S. government, 10 year criminal background check and TSA security threat assessment.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • PEOPLE MANAGEMENT! Supervise a staff of servers, bartenders, hosts and bussers
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Provide coaching and positive leadership and support to staff, fostering a real TEAM environment
  • Guest relations and heavy floor presence
  • Train new hires as well as conduct continuous training for current employees
  • Ensure only correct and consistent products are served to guests
  • Accurate daily cash management
  • Maintain and help conduct inventory
  • Ensure superior cleanliness of restaurant and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Comply with, teach and enforce workplace safety
  • Administrative duties including employee documentation, cash handling and daily logs
  • Understand, follow and enforce company policies, procedures, steps of service, morale initiatives etc.
  • This position reports directly the General Manager

  • Flexible schedule,
  • Certain physical requirements including but not limited to standing / walking for long periods, tolerance of extreme temperatures, ability to lift / push / pull 30 lbs, seeing, hearing, speaking, bending, reaching, grasping
  • Solid computer knowledge including, email, internet, Word and Excel
  • Good Math skills and excellent cash handling abilities

Compensation: 52k base, quarterly bonus program up to 10% of salary, individual medical benefit program, parking, annual salary increases, industry leading 401k program, paid vacation, excellent growth opportunity
