Contracted through Kids Central, Inc., The Centers also provides protective supervision and case management services to children and their families regarding issues of abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation. SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the assurance of quality client care and interaction under the supervision of an RN, LPN (detox), physician, or designated delegate. The CNA is responsible for the close monitoring of CSU, CCSU and Detox clients and providing day-to-day supervision of those clients, as well as maintaining their wellbeing and security by providing: 15-minute client checks, therapeutic activities, vital sign monitoring, 1:1's (if required), care and custody, snacks and meals, hygiene supplies, and other assignments as directed by the RN. The CNA exhibits compassion and an understanding of the nature of behavioral health illnesses, and demonstrates the ability to engage clients with mental health illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring illnesses in a manner that displays empathy and understanding. The CNA promotes a workplace that flourishes on dignity and respect and works cooperatively in a group/team setting. The CNA is part of the multidisciplinary team providing treatment in accordance with the Acute Care Services Guidelines. Physical ability is an essential function of this position.

WORK SCHEDULE
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK: 1st shift (8am - 4pm), 2nd Shift (4pm-12am), and 3rd shift (12am-8am) including weekends. Schedule subject to change at any time based on company needs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Certified Nursing Assistant
Experience working with mental health/substance abuse/chemically dependent individuals preferred.
With acceptable driving record as you may be required to drive.

The Centers, Inc. is a National Health Service Corps approved site with a Tier-1 level HPSA score.
