Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a part-time (20 hrs/wk) Nurse Supervisor in Worcester (**flexible schedule available**)

The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work toward recovery. This program is staffed 24/7.

The nurse supervisor will provide supervision to all nursing personnel in the MYR program to ensure that professional standards and agency and unit policies are complied with. They will be responsible for hiring nurses as well as scheduling and staffing nurses within the program.

Demonstrates a basic, functional knowledge of nursing skills, has a fundamental understanding of addiction and mental health issues in adolescent clients.
Develops a strong working rapport with the multidisciplinary team.
Maintains the highest standards of ethics and demonstrates professional attitude and conduct, while maintaining professional boundaries.
Stays current on, and abide by, all standards recommended by the American Nurses Association and the policies and procedures of CHL/MYR.
Ability to work with diverse staff and client population.
Maintains highest standards of nursing practice, ethics and professionalism.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Provides leadership and supervision to all nursing personnel to ensure that professional standards of practice and agency and unit procedures and policies are complied with.
Completes annual performance appraisals for all nurses.
Responsible for hiring nurses, including organizing orientation.
Responsible for all scheduling and staffing of nurses.
Responsible for knowledge of all relevant state and federal regulations, and will aid in the preparation of licensing visits.
Functions as an independent professional and as a member of the management team.
Attends management meetings weekly.
Participates in the on-call rotation schedule for MYR.
Develops strong, collaborative relationships with staff, peers, members of the management team, physicians and the community.
Coordinates training attendance for all nurses.
Reviews and supervises the thorough and accurate completion of incident reports and required BSAS notifications
Maintains and updates the medical policies and procedures of MYR as needed
Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Current unrestricted MA RN license required, BSN preferred.
Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years working in the field of mental health and/or substance abuse and/or child and adolescent services.
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills a plus.
Current valid US-issued drivers license and a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in a personal vehicle and travel between work sites
Must be able to pass a CORI (Criminal Offender Background Check) and a DCF/CPS (Department of Families Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background check)
