In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting benefit advisors and employers who use our BerniePortal software. This includes building relationships and supporting customers by phone, email, web conference, and face-to-face training. You'll communicate the features and functions of the BerniePortal and set up and renew customers on the system. Your other responsibilities will include maintaining knowledge of the different benefit plans offered, resolving customer issues, being proactive in preventing future issues, administering COBRA, and developing positive relationships with fellow team members. We're building a team that will be known for the most attentive and effective service to benefit advisors and employers in the whole industry.

Bachelor’s Degree required
1-2 years of sales/customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Competitive and results driven candidates
Strong organizational skills and exceptional ability to pay close attention to details
Strong record of being a self-starter
Ability to positively contribute to a mutually respectful work environment (no jerks allowed)
Persistence in taking difficult tasks to completion
Compensation and Benefits
Target start date of October - December 2019
Base + commission with target compensation of $45,000 - $50,000 annually
Full health and ancillary benefits, including HSA and Dependent Care FSA
Employer-paid Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability insurance
401(k) with 3% employer contribution
