Contract
Under supervision assist with a variety of business office functions associated with administration of academic departments and programs in The Arts Administrative Group supporting the departments of Art and Art History, Design, Music, Theatre and Dance, and Cinema & Technocultural Studies. These duties include admin support to the Department of Music as well as contracts, reimbursements, scheduling rooms and honoraria payments.

Physical Demands:
Work on computer, keyboard, mouse and screen for extended periods of time.
Lift and maneuver boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:
Work in the Music satellite business office independently in a high-traffic, high-interruption area.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with purchasing and accounts payable using an automated financial system.

Experience performing general administrative support functions including answering multi-line phone systems; scheduling meetings and room reservations; making travel arrangements; arranging conference calls; and coordinating workshops, seminars and office events.

Experience with PC and word-processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Typing skills using correct spelling and grammar, and correct business correspondence format.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with contract analysis.

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop software used to prepare flyers and other promotional materials.

Knowledge and familiarity with using Content Management Systems and basic editing of html.

Organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of accounting fundamentals.

Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with a wide of variety of people.
