Over the two-year program, the Operations LEAP member will rotate through three Operations roles within the HARMAN Group, with one being an international rotation. In the process members will gain global experience, enhance their operations skills and build an in depth understanding of the technology, businesses and functions within HARMAN.
In addition, you will participate in a mentoring program to help guide your experience, gain access and exposure to HARMAN University courses, in-person group learning, virtual and self-paced programs while developing a strong peer and global network.

For the initial rotations, it is expected there are no direct reports. As the Operations LEAP member progresses through their assignments, they will acquire supervisory responsibility as part of the development program.
Within any projects set during the assignments, the member may retain supervisory responsibility for team members as required within the specified project.
There are 3 rotations over the 2 year life of an Operations LEAP program member. Below are examples of the rotations:
Collaborate with a cross functional business team in all stages of the Integrated Demand Planning Process
Support managers within the SIOP team in preparing and analyzing forecasted data to identify business constraints
Work cross functionally to mitigate the constraints and realize a forecast that can be supported by the business
Support the team in analyzing the integrity of master data especially with revision level changes to ensure a clean data setup
Assist with the NPI planning process from initial data planning to ensure plants are ordering needed material on time
Collaborate with Shared Services on Procure to pay project for bookends and deliverables, sorting out issues and developing a better process
Work with external service provider to tie transactions back to financials and budgets as part of a Supply chain tracking milestone project
Engage in logistics sourcing activities, including analysis of offers and selection/recommendation of service providers
Product Sourcing Analyst
Assist cross-functional VA/VE project team to identify cost down and design to cost opportunities in telematics programs
Collaborate with Global platform in identification and implementation of alternative components for viable long term suppliers for risk mitigation
Create proposals for potential future diverse suppliers in supply chain
Create database for sustainability of continued technology growth
Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related
Minimum GPA of 3.0

Willingness to work in an office initially in Novi, MI
Willingness to relocate to an international Harman office for a 6-month assignment in Budapest, Hungary or other international location
