Toffler Associates is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist with a strong Project Management background to join our growing team working with a Department of Defense client. In this role, you will be an engagement leader in our Security and Resiliency practice, where you will support and shape senior government/executive leadership strategy objectives. You will be the bridge between advanced technical experts and the alignment of mission objectives leveraging your practical policy decisions and outcomes experience. Your contributions will be an integral part in developing, presenting, and implementing organizational and technological cybersecurity solutions as well as cyber risk management strategies using your expertise in cyber, analytics, and systems engineering. Your impact will include:

Supporting client engagements on teams of 2-4 people to ensure quality successful delivery to our clients

Applying Toffler Associates frameworks to organize insights as it relates to the needs of the clients

Utilize investigative experience, security domain knowledge, and cybersecurity engineering skills to support complex, enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions for Federal clients.

Analyze data obtained from enterprise level cybersecurity engagements, correlate information from multiple sources, identify trends, and pinpoint actionable vulnerabilities to recommend risk based and cost-effective mitigations.

Design and implement technical solutions across standard cyber operations, including early threat detection, effective monitoring of platforms and scenarios, and enhancement of technical capabilities and scenario engineering.
You'll arrive equipped with:

7+ years of experience and bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Policy, or a related field.

In depth knowledge of cyber risk management and government policies and familiar with NIST RMF, NIST CSF, DoD 8500, CNSSI Instructions, Cybersecurity Executive Orders, NIST SP 800 Series, and NISPOM.

Strong expertise in developing security architectures and integrating systems for enterprise infrastructures and operational environments and applying cybersecurity capabilities across on premises, cloud, and edge environments.

Extensive understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, methods, attacks, and countermeasures along with knowledge of threat-based frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK.

Understanding of integrating multiple cybersecurity capabilities, such as ICAM, CDS, and endpoint security.

Expertise in one or more cybersecurity capability areas (Resilient Architectures & Mission Assurance, Applied Resiliency Solutions, Threat Informed Resiliency, or Strategic Resiliency Research)

Ability to commute regularly within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and travel out-of-town within the US (up to 20%)

U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance (the nature of our work with the federal government limits our hiring to U.S. citizens)

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in dynamic and complex environments, engaging with senior client leadership to resolve complex technical and programmatic issues.

Experience working with senior government officials and coordinating interagency efforts.

In depth knowledge of National, Intelligence Community, and DoD cybersecurity policies and guidelines.

Expertise in cyber threat intelligence and other cybersecurity areas, including adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Certification in CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or NCSF.
