About the Opportunity:
DMI (Digital Management, Inc.) is seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Officer to support our proposed staffing plan for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). NAVFAC builds and maintains sustainable facilities, delivers utilities and services, and provides Navy expeditionary combat force capabilities. NAVFAC supports this mission through operational execution across six (6) Business Lines: Capital Improvements, Environmental, Expeditionary, Public Works, Asset Management, and Contingency Engineering. NAVFAC’s ability to realize its vision via the Business Lines is dependent on its ability to build and modernize systems to improve their capabilities to capture, store, analyze, reengineer, and report on information and business processes. NAVFAC will do this by leveraging current data, enhancing Information Technology and Operational Technology (IT/OT); and improving visualization, collaboration, warehousing, and cybersecurity efficiencies and effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Defines project scope and objectives.
evelops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Required Certification and Clearance:
CompTIA Security Plus Certification
Active Secret Security Clearance
