Position Summary: This position is responsible for entering program related information into the database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
· Verifies all required data in the Health Office and Compulink databases.
· Looks up missing information for Miami consent forms in the Health Office database.
· Calls schools/parents for missing information, verifying address and scheduling pick-ups.
· Answers incoming phone calls as needed.
· Checks in glasses to the database daily and tracks status of glasses for timely receipt.
· Prepares glasses and signature reports for Opticians to pick-up for dispensing.
· Enters dispensed info into the database and prints backup reports for Optician invoices.
· Mails glasses to parents when an optician is unable to dispense.
· Performs Vision or COVID-19 Screenings at mobile sites as needed.
· Attend events to promote or support Heiken services as needed.
· Helps to maintain office supplies.
· Enter new consent forms into the database as needed.
· Enter Optometry Report results into Compulink.
· Enter data from iCare Reports into Compulink monthly.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
· At least one year of experience performing high volume data entry with accuracy.
· Previous experience working with a database preferred.
· Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficient in Excel.
· Ability to learn and use agency database and computer network with efficiency.
· Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
· Excellent organizational skills such as planning, prioritizing, organizing workload, handling multiple deadlines.
· Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and disabilities.
· High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
· Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background and a drug test screening

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
