Duties:
- You will report directly to the CEO of Kartell US.
- Manage and supervise showroom staff, providing guidance and support as well as coaching.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and increase revenue
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process of new showroom staff
- Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are equipped with product knowledge and sales techniques
- Implement shift management schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
- Oversee payroll administration for showroom staff along with HR
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment. Retail is Detail
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with product selection
- Utilize phone etiquette when communicating with customers or handling inquiries
- Responsible for showroom and individual sales objectives. This is a selling manager position.
- Promote the use of MyKartell at Home, a 3D Design option offered to clients to visualize their space and encourage a larger project size.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings and feedback session with Team Members to ensure constant growth and skill development is a priority.
-Work closely with Italy and CEO on showroom display and seasonal layout.
-Weekly recap of traffic, quotes, leads and potential projects with direct supervisor.
- Manage the transfer of goods for showroom and clients from main warehouse in NJ
- Must demonstrate ownership of showroom. Manage services as needed:
Cleaning Company, HVAC, IT Support, Schedules, Showroom moves, Graphics and promotional materials and all needs associated with the management of a retail showroom and a staff.
Skills:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a retail or showroom setting
- Excellent team management abilities, including supervising and motivating staff
- Proficient in conducting interviews and assessing candidates' qualifications
- Ability to effectively manage shifts and schedules
- Familiarity with price management and inventory control systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
- Strong phone etiquette skills when interacting with customers or addressing inquiries
- Ability to focus on Sales objectives and create a dynamic where success is priority
-Ability to measure a space, discuss design in an educated way and motivate clients to work with the brand

- Bi-Lingual (English & Italian) a plus but not required
