Big Picture:

Mortenson is seeking an Associate Network Administrator who will be responsible for the maintenance of inventory and updates to network features. This individual wll provide excellent customer service to team members requesting assistance troubleshooting network issues.

Responsibilities What will you be doing?

Serve as the basic triage for troubleshooting issues
1. Assisting users network issues related to the Bring Your Own Device program
2. Basic patching
3. Resolving network connectivity problems

Maintain configurations of all network devices

Assist in maintaining the latest revision level on our devices, including security and feature sets

Assist in inventory management, including hardware components and supplies

Manage shipping and receiving of network supplies and process them through basic configuration and
asset tagging

Perform basic equipment maintenance functions, such as:
1. WiFi set-up
2. Configuration of client devices
3. Template application
4. Connecting routers and switches

All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A. Associate’s degree in related field
B. 1 year related experience preferred
C. Completion of any of the following certifications preferred but not required:
1. Network+ or A+(Comp TIA)
2. CCNA (Cisco)
3. WCNA (Wireshark)
4. MSCS (Microsoft)
5. CCDP and CCDA (Cisco)
6. CCNA, CCNP (Cisco – Collaboration, Data Center, Routing and Switching, Security, Service Provider,
or Wireless)
7. MCTS or MCITP (Microsoft)
