The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst role at MuleSoft will be a key player in digital marketing initiatives not only for the marketing team, but across the entire company. The digital marketing team operates all of the channels that create customer interest, nurture prospects, and help seal the deal.
The incumbent in this role will plan and manage digital campaigns, employ data to make smart marketing decisions, and create content with a “customer-first, search engines second” mindset. While we’re looking for marketing knowledge, we’re also seeking someone who loves creating things, has innovative ideas, and is willing to put in the time to follow through and execute well.
The position will be part of the Digital Marketing team and will not only plan digital campaigns, coordinate lifecycle marketing projects, and create content assets, but will work closely with the web, creative, corporate and product marketing teams to drive more amplification for our marketing efforts and ensure it maps back to business metrics.
About the Position:
Develop and execute innovative integrated digital and social campaigns
Manage our presence, budget and bidding for Native Advertising
Monitor performance KPIs for online marketing activities and changes in trends, share insights and make recommendations to the marketing team
Build landing pages and test and optimize for maximizing conversion rates
Analyze web traffic using Google Analytics and provide suggestions on how to improve User Experience, Conversion rate and web performance
Utilize Marketo and Salesforce for reporting and optimizing campaigns
Audit campaign assets (landing pages, articles, social media posts, emails, whitepapers, eBooks, analyst reports, infographics, etc.) to ensure healthy traffic and conversion metrics
Measure and identify gaps in the marketing funnel and ensure constant campaign improvements over time
Manage multiple projects to stay on deadline and create appropriate release cadence
Quickly come up to speed on MuleSoft’s products, market positioning, point of view and thought leadership
Shadow the team to understand our processes
Understand key metrics, which content assets are best meeting them and why
Maintain and enhance editorial calendar
Create a weekly queue of blog posts
Develop and maintain campaign calendar
Execute on webinar plan
Create and execute newsletter content plan
Perform quarterly content audit and enhance auditing process
Update outdated assets with new messaging
Maintain and enhance yearly campaign plan
Update and refine asset matrices
Content plan mapped out for new assets
Bachelor’s degree or minor in marketing, literature, history, philosophy, statistics, economics, science, mathematics or engineering
Strong writing skills and understanding of story generation and storytelling techniques
Experience creating content for different personas and pain points
Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines
Understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Ability to prioritize and manage various projects based on the changing business requirements
Strong interpersonal skills to influence others without formal authority and lead cross-functional teams
Knowledge of SEO, social, and digital marketing tactics
Proficiency in HTML
Demonstrated skills in collaboration, innovation, and tenacity
Skilled at problem solving and extracting insights from analysis
The ability to synthesize data, summarize issues, and think outside the box is essential
