Job Description:
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic software/application developer to join our team. This position is responsible for creating, maintaining, delivering, and harmonizing business software and application solutions for the Power Systems Project Engineering Domain. The ideal candidate is well-versed in creating and integrating software solutions and application development within our suite of tools. In this role you will have major influence on the storyboard, the overall design, and the organization of business tools and applications so experience in software and application development, Tableau, SQL, R or Python, Power Apps, SharePoint is highly desired.
What will you do?

Research and analysis of existing tools, application, data, and reports, that actively support our business activities.

Connect with leaders and peers to understand the information already in use as well as their "wish list" and collaborate on business information development needs.

Gain access to systems and data environments to understand business intent and the key elements of additional solution needs.

Apply development techniques within these digital tools and software applications to meet the new business requirements.

Become the application owner for these tools and software application to maintain the relevant content and perform enhancements as additional business needs and improvements are identified.

Provide instructional training for new application launches by applying sound instructional design methodology using various authoring tools.

Establish and monitor the metrics necessary to track the progress and success of development.

Deliver project proposals and recommended solutions to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Analytics, Information System Management, Computer Science, or Engineering

At least 1 year of professional experience in software and application development, including but not limited to: Tableau, SQL, R or Python, Power Apps, SharePoint.

Experience developing digital tools and software applications that support a global scope.

Strive for value-added solutions and identify quick wins (agile thinking).

Ability to sort through existing software, tools and enterprise applications to organize the content and build world class digital tools and software applications to support business needs.

Strong understanding of user interface/experience design

Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools

Knowledge of Schneider Electric’s suite of digital tools and applications is a plus.
