The Boeing Company’s corporate flight department is a dynamic and motivated team. Worldwide flight operations entail complexity and extensive strategic planning. The Flight Operations Control Specialists will help grow the flight department’s Operations Control Center (OCC). Successful candidates will help lead a team of dispatchers, crew/aircraft schedulers, travel coordinators and international trip planners.
They will manage and oversee the daily flight operation—anticipating and successfully contending with irregular operations, flight crew personnel, and passenger requests. Coordinating staffing schedules will be a core duty in addition to innovating and developing new operational processes and corresponding tracking metrics.
Additional responsibilities include planning and conducting trips in compliance with company operations manual and applicable federal, domestic, and international flight regulations—all while upholding the highest safety standards and practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required):
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Aircraft dispatch, international trip planning, Operations Control Center (OCC), and/or professional flying experience is required.
Strong understanding and knowledge of FAA regulations.
Professional aviation experience, exceptional leadership abilities, and exemplary written and verbal communications skills.
Problem solving, project management, and analytical abilities are essential.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Strong leadership and team-oriented aviation experience.
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Programs.
Effectively manage staff in a time pressure shift work environment.

Preferred Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience.

Typical Education / Experience:Level 4:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
