Summary: Under direct supervision, works with the general public, internal and external customers providing information and services targeted to meet customer expectations. The position includes numerous clerical duties including but not limited to data entry, maintaining filing systems, customer billing, processing mail, posting payments, reconciling deposit records, septic record retrieval, email and answering phones. This position works to promote the health and safety of the residents of Cobb & Douglas counties.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and Six months of experience handling customer’s question, complaints and /or providing information.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Two or more years of experience in frontline customer service and independently performing a range of general office duties such as data entry, accounting, and other similar clerical responsibilities. The ability to translate English to Spanish and Spanish to English, both orally and in writing.
Salary Information: $12.38 per hour / Up to 29 hours per week / No Benefits / Unclassified
