As a Systems Engineer on the BP IT/OT Manufacturing Team you will primarily be expected to:
Drive adoption strategies for manufacturing applications.
Configure/develop supported systems as needed.
Lead community of practice teams consisting IT resources and manufacturing resources.
Design, implement, and enforces security policies that protect systems and data from access by unauthorized users.
Creates procedures for data access, protection, and backup.
Reviews changes to information systems to ensure compliance with security standards.
Create/document architectural designs for specific applications or technology solutions that are stable and reliable, scalable, and economically reasonable for the enterprise.
Stay up to date with innovative technology differentiating between hype and true value with the technical knowledge to operationalize.
Successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of engaging in tasks across a variety of technologies and user capabilities.

Partnering with internal IT and business groups to create/execute application roadmaps.
Staying engaged with current projects and building application adoption plans.
Participating in on-call support rotation for all CMAG supported systems.
What You Will Need To Bring With You:
Bachelor's degree or higher within Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in an IT field defining system requirements, architecture, design, and application development.
Minimum 2 years MS SQL experience.
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time and be located near major airport.

Experience developing and communicating vision and strategy.
Experience in SharePoint and Tableau.
Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
Analyst experience gathering customer ideas/requirements and translating into effective solutions.
Experience promoting the adoption of business applications.
System integration experience from concept to production.
Working knowledge of IT networking technology.
Experience working in a consultative and cooperative manner with multiple stakeholders, such as corporate IT, corporate business leaders, and business users.
