NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator in the Cleveland office.

The Safety Coordinator will be assigned to a various construction sites to assist in the implementation of the Company safety program to help ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free work environment.

Expected Outcomes:
Serve as a safety resource
Safety goals are achieved on assigned project(s)
Identify unsafe acts and conditions to eliminate/reduce incidents or injuries
Identify and eliminate OSHA citations
Positive attitude toward safe work practices

Position Responsibilities:
Ensure Company safety policies and procedures are understood by employees and implemented consistently company-wide
Conduct frequent comprehensive on-site safety assessments as part of a constant monitoring process
Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensures corrective measures are immediately implemented; follow through to ensure corrections have been made
Educates project personnel through “on the spot” training and Tool Box Safety Talks
Completes accident reporting and investigation, as needed; may provide transportation to an injured worker in need of medical attention
Issue and inventory PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed
Provide assistance to all project employees regarding the safety practices required on the project and by the Company
Maintain organized safety and jobsite files and records
Communicate frequently with Superintendents, Foreman and craft workers regarding their good safety practices as well as those in need of improvement
Participate in department and project meetings as needed
Perform data entry as needed and other recordkeeping tasks including, but not limited to, filing and paperwork completion
Communicate and reinforce the Company vision, values and goals
Perform all duties in accordance with the Company’s safety policies
Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

Essential Skills and Experience:
Excellent organizational skills
Eager to learn and excel in the field of construction safety and health
Willing and able to commute to jobs and regional offices as needed
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of OSHA Standards
Bilingual preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Other
OSHA 30 hour required
Experience in the field of construction and/or general industry as a Safety and Health professional
Ability to work up to 40 hours or more per week
