KM Systems Group is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support our Federal Government consulting practice. The individual will support program activities related to scheduling and will provide expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The individual will follow best practices in scheduling processes and protocols to ensure vertically and horizontally integrated schedules and scheduling products. The individual will integrate the program schedule system with an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and other program performance reporting and data systems.
Location: Arlington, VA
Education: Bachelor's Degree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will maintain program management items such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Schedule Plans and Baselines, and Schedule Analytic Reports using Earned Value Management (EVM).
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Function as a facilitator at all levels throughout the schedule development process and communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development and/or maintenance of the WBS for schedule preparation and cost analysis
- Define and sequence project activities
- Track baseline and update performance
- Develop, control and maintain the IMS and sub-schedules
- Perform critical path assessments, analysis and reporting
- Prepare extracts from Microsoft Project for import into EVMS and other EVM reporting tools
- Support EVMS maintenance and reporting
- Perform work with minimal supervision, assist in establishing objectives, and be able to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives.
Experience Requirements:
- Individual should possess 10+ years of relevant experience in program management organizations responsible for delivering IT services of similar scope and complexity
- Demonstrated experience designing, analyzing, and implementing project schedules an integrated master schedules for Federal Government programs. In addition, the candidates should have experience preparing and maintaining a schedule for integration into an EVMS and other tools.
- Demonstrated expertise with any combination of the following software tools, Microsoft Project, and Deltek Cobra
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
