This position provides excellence in Software Quality Assurance testing for the SQA function. The Software QA Lead will provide testing leadership on internal projects, establish, implement, and maintain SQA processes and procedures. You will also train, mentor, and support the offshore SQA Analysts in testing and configuring internally developed applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop, implement, maintain, and govern effective Quality Assurance processes and standards, including SDLC, for Applications Development.
Responsible for the maintenance of the SQA Environment Inventory as well as the coordination of environment planning including allocation, configuration, and maintenance of the test environment.
Manage and coordinate efforts between department and other business units.
Provide SQA project leadership. Analytical responsibilities analysis of business requirements, functional and non-functional specifications, technical designs, and database requirements.
Testing responsibilities include writing comprehensive test plans, automated test scripting, test execution, performance testing, regression testing, automated test management and execution, defect management, test progress reporting, sign-off and creation of test certificates.
Participate in the activities leading to the application implementation to production – planning, scheduling, implementation, and validation.
P rovide timely reports to management on a regular basis.
Train, mentor, and facilitate onboarding of new staff; promote a culture of continuous improvement among staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Five (5) plus yea rs in software quality assurance testing experience required, preferably with at least 3 years in the card payment industry or financial services industry.
Five (5) years’ experience with a combination of manual and automated testing experience required.
Must have at least two ye ars’ experience leading a team.
Experience using Jira, Zephyr, Selenium, SoapUI, LoadUI, LoadComplete, ServiceV, Toad, and Putty is required.
Practical knowledge of JBoss, Windows servers, Oracle, Visio, Agile, and DevOps required.
Must have experience supporting Information Management related rapid testing of ETL (Informatica/SSIS/SAP BODS).
Must have experience with BI/Analytics platforms (Business Objects/Qlik/OBIEE/Tableau).
Experience working with First Data platform and with ADA and 508 guidelines is desirable.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. CTFL certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrate behaviors based on PSCU values.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of configuration management and QA concepts, principles, and methodologies.
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming language; Knowledge of relational database concepts and structures, preferably Oracle.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, with experience testing APIs and web services manually or automated.
Expert level acumen in testing methodologies and approaches, including pairwise testing.
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats and give presentations utilizing various audiovisual support aids.
Ability to manage multiple projects, work in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in making decisions.
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications.
Ability to travel as needed to successfully perform position responsibilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials handled.
Ability to be flexible and work
