Job Description Summary: The Lead Logistics Analyst reports to the Logistics Manager and has the responsibility of assisting the Logistics Analysts who are forecasting bulk product deliveries to ensure customer service levels and efficiency of operations with available resources while supporting the Airgas Merchant Gases safety culture and adherence to DOT rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Be the embodiment of a servant leader for the logistics team, other functional areas and regional businesses
- Implements the necessary operational performance metrics and tracks performance against objectives on a regular basis.
- Owns and ensures reliability of input data into logistics optimization tools, such as Telemetry, on-board computers, and demand forecasting through partnering with Field Operations
- Establishes and maintains communication with Logistics Manager, Logistics Director, Zone Distribution Directors, Region Sales and Supply Chain to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Owns and develops Standard Operating Procedures to meet the ongoing needs of efficient and timely deliveries.
- Helps ensure that customer complaints and service issues are resolved in a timely manner with proactive resolutions set in place for any future issues that may arise.
- Monitors analyst’s KPIs and coaches for improvement

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field required.
Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to learn customized Supply Chain optimization programs
Advanced knowledge of Google applications (Docs, Sheets and slides)
Ability to operate custom supply chain software (ALTO, OSCD, PI)
