Description:

Receive, direct and relay telephone messages in a professional, timely manner. This position handles confidential information with a high degree of discretion. Knowledge of annuity new business processing is a plus.

Typical Duties/Requirements:

  • Answer incoming calls, re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Confirm client meetings via phone
  • Work with 1st assistant to complete accurate paperwork for annuity new business
  • Maintain the general filing system and file correspondence
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and conferences
  • Ability to provide a full range of administrative support to include, but not limited to, preparing various correspondence, preparing client presentations/illustrations, opening and sorting incoming mail
  • Stock and organize common areas
  • Ability to handle highly confidential insurance information, possess a high degree of discretion, a high level of professionalism, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Must have well developed organizational skills

Qualifications:

Receptionist experience a plus

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook

Annuity/insurance new business processing experience a plus

High School Diploma

Part time - 20 hours (1-5 PM Monday-Friday), compensation $13-15 per hour

A criminal background check will be required before date of hire
