Working as a Traveling Director of Dining Services for new business openings, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for new business accounts in Senior Living facilities. Working as a team with an Executive Chef overseeing Back of House (BOH) operations, you will manage, lead, and train a team of associates in Front of House (FOH) operations. You will be responsible for managing client relations, along with ensuring that the food offered to the customers is of superior quality. Once the facility is operating up to MCL standards, you will move to the next client. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests and client as well as other departments
Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Morrison Community Living marketing and culinary team
Will travel within the region and will work 10 days on, 4 days off. If the client location is within a commutable distance of your home, you may choose to stay at home Most accounts will be "day travel", with infrequent flying.
BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
High volume production and catering experience is essential
Previous experience managing a budget
Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
