AMD is looking for an SOC Architect to partner with our customer team at the forefront of technology!

The ideal candidate will enjoy working on innovative new product designs and being part of a highly visible team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated success in SOC Design with high speed DRAM and/or processor design (ie Graphics, Microprocessors, Network Processors, or Mobile / Multimedia SoCs)
Experience successfully taking products from concept architecture through production.
Knowledge of HBM2, GDDR5/6, LPDDR4 protocols as well as familiarity with cache interfaces/protocols.
Candidate should be familiar with all stages in the ASIC design flow including emulation, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor planning, ECO, bring up & lab debug, and ATE test development.
System architecture background to guide performance considerations across a broad scope of on-SOC system fabric considerations towards CPU Cores, GPU Cores, Multi-media, memory controller, and design architecture to mitigate memory timing constraints.
Technical topics to be investigated include: exploring fabric protocol options; exploring physical and link technology options; characterizing latency and bandwidth capability for each option; exploring fabric routing options; exploring costs associated with fabric options
Considered technical leader across project and departmental boundariesand has a proven track record for sustained innovation.
Makes technical decisions that have a significant impact on product families, go to market strategies and customer satisfaction
Represents AMD to the outside technical community, partners and vendors
