Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Program Manager (PM) for an Enterprise Information Technology Core Service program supporting a federal client located in Sterling, VA. The PM is responsible for overseeing contract performance and building customer relationships. The PM will be responsible for the day-to-day management of project teams and will serve as the Government's primary Point-of-Contact. The PM will provide planning, direction, and coordination to accomplish all work requirements in addition to managing and overseeing all activities performed by contractor personnel.
Responsible for managing and overseeing all activities under the engagement including subcontractor efforts
Ensure all the activities necessary are completed timely and effectively in accordance with the requirements of the contract including performance requirements and issue resolution
Facilitate all Government-Contractor communications and serve as the primary technical and managerial interface between the Contractor, Contracting Officer, and Contracting Officer's Representative
Ensure written minutes of the meetings with the CO/COR are prepared by the team and signed by designated program team members
Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the contract and any resulting Task Orders, to include both technical issues and businesses processes
Provides overall management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of the contract
Assigns tasks to other contractor personnel, supervises on-going technical efforts, and manages overall performance
Makes decisions for the contractor's organization and responds to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues
The PM must have a bachelor's degree and 8 + years of relevant experience in managing a comprehensive Enterprise IT program with at least 5 years in a leadership role
The PM candidate should have at least one of the following certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Graduate Certificate, or equivalent certification
A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience briefing executive level leadership and coordinating program efforts at a senior management level within and external to the government agency
Must be US Citizen
Travel may be required, primarily to Denver, CO and New Orleans, LA
Prior experience serving as a Program Manager for major government initiatives, preferably with the Department of Interior
