The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our corporate team in Raleigh, NC to perform complex month-end general ledger close, account analysis, account reconciliations, and project analysis. This position is ideal for an ambitious and experienced professional who seeks to be a part of a rapidly growing company. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgement to improve and develop accounting processes and procedures in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs following established accounting practices
- Balancing multiple intercompany accounts throughout month end close
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Provide detailed analysis and explanations of all transactions
- Prepare documentation as needed for external auditors
- Assist in the development, modification, and implementation of accounting systems and processes
- Seek ways to continually improve accounting and organizational processes and procedures to gain efficiency and add value to both internal and external customers
- Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated corporate and partner financial statements
- Build ad hoc financial and statistical reports as needed for management review
- Provide support to other corporate functions as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensing/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
- General ledger close experience for multiple-entity organization(s)
- Physician Services or Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly motivated and self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task
- Strong customer service skills, collaborative and flexible
- Execution-focused, with the ability to take individual responsibility for delivering quality work in a timely manner
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
- Able to summarize and present information in Power Point
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Access, etc.)
- Experience with various ERP’s (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics SL, Great Plains, Intacct, etc.)
