This position exists to execute the procurement and acquisition of supplies, equipment and services by using established policies and procedures to perform purchasing and contracting activities for appropriate quality of products and services for Parkview Health.
Requires an Associate's degree in business or related area or equivalent experience to be able to perform the job, prefer a Bachelor's degree.
Purchasing experience preferred. General purchasing experience should include supplier relations, pricing analysis, and product sourcing.
Demonstrates facilitation skills, ability to work in a team environment, ability to be detail-oriented and ability to multi-task. Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Office Word and Basic Excel. Must have good organizational skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
