The Role and Responsibilities

The Inventory Management team owns analytics and processes that maximize the value of Roku's ad platform. This position will report to the Manager of Inventory and Yield and is based in New York.

  • Prepare impression demand forecasts and insights for weekly Inventory Management Meeting
  • Handle inventory availability inquires for video campaigns, leveraging internal tools
  • Support pricing analysis and rate card development
  • Pull data and provide insights for tri-weekly Ad Ops / Account Management standups
  • Support segment creation efforts, and ensure segment library is maintained and up to date
  • Work with product, sales, account management and the inventory sourcing teams to promote our most popular and high-delivery segments, while calling out areas for improvement
  • Establish highly collaborative, cross-functional relationships across the broader Roku organization
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of trends in connected TV and new technologies that affect the buying discipline
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Roku's ad network
  • High degree of drive and self-motivation
  • Ability to work autonomously to solve problems and create solutions that resolve ongoing issues
  • Ability to analyze data & relate it to business needs
  • High proficiency with Excel, SQL, Tableau and other similar reporting and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to work in a rapidly-changing environment

  • 3-4 years of experience in digital advertising either in operations, yield or media buying
  • Understanding of and experience in the digital ad space, industry terminology and metrics; video ad servers a plus
  • Bachelors or equivalent
