As a Business Solutions Executive, you will educate customers and excite them with innovative, business-impacting solutions! Identifies and develops new sales opportunities, provides product/solution recommendations, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. Introduces company products and services to new and/or existing customers. Develops and maintains accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and manages an adequate funnel of business opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for selling in the designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities via cold calling, on-premise visits, networking, and other lead-generating activities. Will conduct customer appointments, make formal presentations, and manage the sales cycle to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
Develops and manages relationships with existing customers to acquire additional business.
Develops action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend.
Furthers knowledge of new technologies and sales best practices, to include becoming knowledgeable of the company's entire portfolio of products and solutions.
Prepares comprehensive account plans and strategies to generate new business from new and/or existing customers.
Provides accurate and detailed daily/weekly/monthly forecasts and maintains a healthy funnel of opportunities in order to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape.
Demonstrated formal presentation and communication skills (verbal and written), as well as proficiency in high closing ratios.
Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently and with minimum direction.
Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Requires at least 50% of the time conducting sales activities outside of the office.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: 3+ Years B2B telecom (AT&T preferred)
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience with solutions-based selling in a commissions-based sales environment (documented success)
Field of Study: Business, Marketing, Sales or similar
Attention to detail with superior organizational and time-management skills; attention to detail a must.
