We are currently searching for a dynamic Operations Manager Trainee to join our Team.
The Operations Manager Trainee will train in all facets of the operations to become a site leader. They will likely serve as an interim department Manager in one or more departments as part of the learning process. This could include the management of a small (5) or a large (20-30) group of Team Members in the Operation. The Operations Manager Trainee is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the manufacturing operation. While in the interim department leader position the Operations Manager Trainee will handle supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include ensuring the interviewing, hiring, and training of Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
This position will likely require eventual relocation to one of our other locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, or Tennessee. Candidates must be willing to relocate.
This position requires 5-years of management experience in a mid-size manufacturing environment. Candidate should have demonstrated experience building positive relationships with teams, leading and supervising manufacturing teams and creating a positive environment to accomplish service to the customer. Building materials industry a plus.
