Involve in mechanical works for design & detailed engineering, installation, testing & commissioning of small-scale natural gas liquefaction plants and other offshore / onshore LNG solutions.
Prepare project specifications in accordance with client’s requirements to ensure technical and regulatory compliances are met.
Coordinate with mechanical equipment system vendors, generate datasheets, process parameters for key equipment purchase requisition (gas compressor, turbine, refrigeration plant, heat exchanger, pumps, control valves, flare system, etc.), review submittal shop / construction drawings, calculations, design report, etc.
Review technical quotes and recommend the selection of suitable process equipment and other auxiliaries based on process / project requirements to assist procurement / commercial team.
Cooperate with inter-disciplines engineers to ensure quality engineering deliverables are acquired timely.
Attend equipment / package system installation inspection for modular process skids, interfacing, witness FAT, supervise erection, testing and commissioning (SAT) on site.
Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Recognised Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with (1) to (3) years’ work experience.
Have prior working experience in offshore / onshore natural gas processing, other process plants and / or industrial refrigeration projects.
Understanding of classification rules, international codes and standards such as ASME, ASHRAE, ANSI, NFPA, API, AWS, etc.
Working knowledge in MS office suite, AutoCAD and related industrial software applications.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company.
