Hungry Harvest is the nation's leading brand fighting food waste and hunger by delivering farm to doorstep rescued produce. We believe that no produce should go to waste and no person should go hungry. In just 4 years, we've rescued over 10 million pounds of produce from going to waste and supported local hunger-solving organizations with over 850,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. In addition to fighting food waste, we envision a hunger-free Baltimore within the next 10 years. We’re working on a self-sustaining solution to direct affordable produce to food deserts called Produce in a SNAP. We are also leading the charge in preventative health with our fruits and vegetable prescription program, HarvestRx.

As Market Coordinator, you will be responsible for growing Hungry Harvest in the Miami area by raising awareness and building a community connection. In this role, you should be comfortable working independently with a support network in other remote markets and Baltimore HQ. This is an exciting opportunity to champion Hungry Harvest in Miami, grow your market, and join an amazing team working towards a mission.
Making and building partnerships within Miami
Drive positive Hungry Harvest press by proactively reaching out and pushing both local and HQ stories to Miami media
Recruit and engage local brand ambassadors for both our digital program and to table at events
Work with influencers to amplify Hungry Harvest messaging
Attend events through tabling, sponsorship, donations, and more to network, generate partnership opportunities and customer leads
Attend 5 events in your community per month to table, network, and present in an effort to generate partnership & customer leads
Execute national campaigns by working on HQ initiatives and adding local voice and perspective to campaigns
Focus on customer retention by speaking with at least 3 customers a week to uncover trends and keep a pulse on the market
Monitor weekly churn and find root causes when it spikes or when cancellations outpace new customers
Assist in effort bring Produce in a Snap (PIAS) to Miami and serve as POC for partners with PIAS & donations as well as track & analyze partnership value
Bring an understanding of Miami consumer preferences, values, and community ethos to the rest of the company
With market success, eventually expand Miami market as needed based on demographics, density, logistics feasibility, and community connections
The Good You're Bringing
At least 2 years marketing and/or sales experience preferred
College degree preferred
Strong selling and networking skills
Connection to and deep familiarity with the Miami area
Strong written & oral communication skills
Learner’s mindset with a bias towards action
Preferred experience in a startup or quickly moving environment
