The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. The Digital Marketing Capability role responsible for leading enterprise initiatives with cross channel and/or cross marketing impacts that drive engagement and optimize the customer and team member experience while realizing efficiency gains and reduction of risk. Works horizontally across Marketing and with partners in Technology, Data Management and Insights, Lines of Business, and various channels (Digital, Community Bank, Contact Centers, etc.) to define strategy, roadmaps, and lead the end to end execution of strategic initiatives.
Serves as the Marketing Capability X-functional Lead/Champion providing strategic direction and execution for cross marketing or cross channel initiatives as necessary.
Defines project scope, business needs and requirements with input from relevant Marketing stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are translated appropriately.
Acts as business sponsor or marketing champion during all project phases, including approving and facilitating reviews of requirements, designs, operating models and processes.
Drives process and change management and provides results/ measurements of KPIs.
Elevates all efforts to consider end to end needs and broad application, ensuring solutions take a customer centric and Enterprise point of view.
Serves as the Marketing Project Intake Lead representing all customer facing capabilities in Marketing ecosystem intake processes.
Attends Marketing Project Intake forum and identifies impacted capabilities and resource needs, advising other capability leads on meeting outcomes and intake process.
Requires a broad understanding of all active ECEC (Enterprise Customer Exeperience Capabilities) capabilities and ability to assess impacts and recommend resourcing and prioritization.
Serves as the Digital & Mobile Brand Refresh Vertical Lead responsible for leading engagement between Digital Projects and Marketing to activate Brand changes across digital platforms. Works with Brand leaders, Marketing Center of Excellence teams (COEs), Digital and Line of Business stakeholders and senior leaders due to brand refresh being a strategic priority for marketing. Defines the strategy for prioritizing and funding (e.g. approves forecasts and funding asks and determines scope for inclusion in Brand program vs what is business as usual).
Consults and informs Digital Project planning - scope and phases – to ensure brand team objectives, marketing resources, and marketing capability impacts, if any, are accounted for.
Drives resolution and communication of project issues within marketing.
Communicates vertical progress to Marketing Leaders (Marketing Leadership Team and Chief Marketing Officer).
Drives working team responsible for making incremental marketing campaign updates that leverage digital platform changes and aligns with overall Brand strategy (indirect leadership). Directs two (2) Consultants that are responsible for program deliverables such as:
Collects and prioritizes marketing requirements with SME inputs.
Manages monthly and quarterly forecasting submissions to the Marketing ecosystem and leadership reviews for Digital/Mobile projects.
Supports internal, marketing communications and manages communications’ schedule.
Responsible for Marketing project intake and compliance with Enterprise Project Management Office standards.
Manages relationship with Digital ecosystem, socializing marketing program scope, negotiating funding and priorities with Digital ecosystem and leaders, maintaining digital budget, and driving intake.
Defines scope and budget across all projects plus secures and manages day-to-day funding.
Ensures Enterprise Project Management and Investment Optomization compliance.
Directs day to day deliverables for two (2) Contractors.
8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media)
2+ years of supervisory or management experience
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Ability to prepare and present senior level communications
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of product management or business strategy in the financial services industry
